For Spring Break this year we went to Indio California. Yes it is in the desert but it was so much fun. We stayed at the Trendwest Resort and our good friends, The Gearharts met up with us and we just played at the resort. The kids swam, played tennis, relaxed at the pool, played games and just had a good time. I can't seem to find where I put the pictures so I will post this without any pictures. We had such a nice family time. We stopped and saw my cousin Jesse Taylor and his family who live in San Bernandino California. It was fun for the kids to see their cousins and visit with their family. I again am sure greatful and thankful for such a loving family all around. On our way home we decided to take a long drive and drove to Lake Havesu Arizona and let the kids see the London Bridge. That was interesting. It was fun walking across the bridge as we sang "London Bridge is falling down". Then we pulled into Hoover Damn in Las Vegas just as it was getting dark. We got home around 10 that night. Then we are heading camping. What a fun spring break.

Grandpa "Woof Woof"
Then they would sit and take turns. He tried to teacher her how to hold it with both hands - and funny little Heidi would take her LEFT hand and try so hard to hit as if she was playing baseball. How cute. He tucked her in her bed and it was so cute she is learning to say I love you and nite grandpa.
Grandpa also watched Allie do a back flip on the trampoline tonight. He thought that was exciting. He heard Josh play Pirates of the Carribean on the piano. He sure noticed how Josh has gotten to be a good pianist. He said "hi" to Maegan and her friend Ainsley as they were heading on bike boards up the street. The kids just love having Grandpa Woof Woof here. Mitch and Amy are on their way down - Meg and Josh can't wait to see them. Then Sunday Grandma Dixie and Aunt Brooke and her kids will come down. It's always fun to be able to spend time with family. Allie can't wait to have her Grandpa and Grandma Parr live next to us. Last week she said to me "If Grandma gets a job at my school mom, then I won't have to ride my bike to school every day, I can ride with Grandma. It's what life is all about - FAMILY - and we have been blessed to have such a close family. Thank you we love you all so much!

President's Day 4 Wheeling
We had such a fun day yesterday. We took the kids 4 wheeling over to Warner Valley yesterday. We decided not to take the toy hauler because it was a beautiful sunny day. So we loaded up, we had Eric's kids Stephanie and AJ come with us.
As you can see Maegan was driving the Grizzly around with Stephanie and Heidi on. Even Heidi liked the ride. Then Stephanie and Allie both took the BIG machines and rode around all day. They were so cute. AJ did donuts most of the time - he has no fear. Josh thinks he needs a new bike like his dad's - a YFZ 450 with clutch. So obviously Rob didn't get to ride much because Josh and AJ were loving every bit of it.
Maegan had fun with Rob learning how to ride AJ's Honda 80 motorcycle. They went for a long ride down the road. She did great. She took a little spill as she tried to ride up the hill in the sand and it came out from under her. But she laughed. Good trooper Meg. Heidi wore her favorite "pink" hat all day. I think she knows that by wearing her hat - she stays warm. I noticed today when she woke up that she was a little sunburned.
We had such a fun time. We are waiting for the weekend already to head out again. A fun family time we have together. Then we all worked hard to wash the four wheelers when we got home.
Rob I think worked the hardest. Thanks Rob.

Shades
Look at me MoM. Heidi loves to put on my glasses. We were at Meg's violin teachers house just waiting for her and Heidi was pretending to drive the van and be Mom. What a smile!

Snow in St. George
It doesn't happen very often but yesterday it happened. We got SNOW in Sunny St. George. It was even big snow flakes coming down. The kids loved it. It started out with rain - all day - we ran to church and we ran home from church in the rain. Then during the Super Bowl - the snow began. Now the red mountains are covered with SNOW.

Rob is going to take the kids target shooting today after school.Rob and Allie had Dudes and Donuts this morning at school. Allie was excited to have her dad go with her to school and read. Then Allie gets to go home with Stephanie today to play. Heidi still loves Barney. She is very much into puzzles. The TLC lady was at our house yesterday and Heidi wouldn't let her take the Barn Animal puzzle she has had for 2 weeks now back. She loves the animals. She is talking better too.Tomorrow Maegan will go to the BYU - EFY Day Conference from 9-12. She is excited. She is really doing good in her music lessons. She is busy but she wants to continue to develop her talents.I am wishing I had more pictures on my computer here at school but I don't many but don't worry - I am SO excited to do this Blog. Thanks Mitch and Amy. This will be our family journal. I had one student tell me that there is a some software or something that you can have your blog printed and it can be your journal for the year. Fun huh.
