Uncle Mitch and Aunt Amy

How fun is it when your family comes to town. Well my kids LOVE it. They just wait and wait for when they pull in the driveway. A few weeks ago(yes I know I am behind but I am getting updated :) ) My brother Mitch and Amy came down to visit. Josh LOVES Uncle Mitch and looks up to him in every way possible. And Amy - well she is the fashion queen and Maegan thinks she ROCKS!! They were taking a tour of the house and as we were walking back down the stairs, Mitch goes - look at that new family picture and I noticed it was in a small black frame and I looked at it and then went OH my heck....they are having a baby...then I had to look at it again and there were TWO babies. They are going to have TWINS. We are SOOO excited for them we can't wait. They are going to be the best parents. So it was such a fun weekend as you can tell. Mitch played Guitar Hero on the Wi. Rob and Mitch had to battle it out and then Mitch and Maegan did. Amy was such a good support to cheer them on. Then Uncle Mitch gave the little girls a ride around on the carpet. They loved it. Heidi would just laugh and laugh. Thanks for taking the time and having so much fun with the kids Mitch and Amy. They really do look forward to seeing you both. You are the best and we sure love you.

Camping over Spring Break

We went camping for the last half of Spring Break close in town to Washington. It was alot of fun. Grandpa and Grandma Dansie came in town and came out and so did Uncle Norm and Aunt Sandy. We had a camp fire and the kids rode and rode the fourwheelers. Eric and Andy brought their Rhino out and had fun with us too. It was fun to see mom and Aunt Sandy drive it around with the babies in the back. We are so lucky to have such a wonderful family. Aunt Sandy took the little girls and helped them collect the perfect rock to paint as a lady bug and bumble bee. Love being together as a family and making memories. The kids wanted so bad to sleep over and it still was a little cold. So we did and we told stories and made up stories, sang songs and roasted marshemellows (thanks to grandpa and grandma) They took Heidi back home so she didn't get cold and slept at our house. We kept AJ and Stephanie with us. Then the next morning they had breakfast for us when we woke up. What fun times.

Josh's 12 Birthday and Priesthood

On March 9th Josh turned 12 years old. I can't believe how fast he has grown up. He is excited because now he gets to go to receive the priesthood and go to young mens. On March 16th he was given the aaronic priesthood by his dad. Grandpa Dansie, Uncle Eric Dansie and Uncle Norm all got to stand in the circle. He is so blessed to have a family with such great support. What a special day that was for him. So Conference weekend he had both of his grandparents down here and for the priesthood session he was able to go and sit by his dad, and both of his Grandparents.
He looks so nice in his black suit. On Sunday March 30 he was able to pass the sacrament for the first time with his dad. That was a special experience for him. Heidi kept saying "Josh" and wanted to get him. She sure loves her big brother. Then on March 27 he was able to go to the temple and do baptisms for the dead for the first time. He said it was awesome and he was glad he turned 12 just in time. Of course we celebrated his birthday and he got the big 12 pizza. What a special boy you are Josh. We sure love you and are greatful you are such a good example to the family. Thank you for being you.
